Since then they have worked in forestry, making and selling their craft, and teaching. As well as setting up the project at Golden Hill Wood.
Golden Hill Wood is run by myself, Celi and my partner, Reyna. It is a woman owned project and we endevour to use female and minority gender teachers wherever possible. We also engage the public through volunteer days and projects to aid the management of the land and help people to develop skills.

Coffee Table/Bench Making in the Woods - Beginner Green Woodworking course
"Currently sat admiring my coffee table/bench. It was made in the beautiful space of Golden Hill Wood. A woodland in Wales made all the more welcoming through the teacher of the course Celi. Celi had a very special way of sharing knowledge and her skills in Green Woodworking, putting every one at ease and creating a group who mutually supported one another in there own project.
I would do another course with Celi at the drop of a hat. Get yourself to Golden Hill and be immersed in the beautiful woodland and the wonders of Greenwood work."
Grown and Made Woodcraft responded:
"Hi Kip,
Thanks so much for your review, it was really great to meet you and share the joy of green woodwork."
"This course was amazing, I came away with two things I had created and a great experience learning a new skill. It is difficult at first but you learn quickly with the help of your instructor. I would definitely recommend this to anyone of all levels/skill "
"Thoroughly enjoyed this 1 day course and would recommend it to anyone who is a beginner like myself. The day flew by, I became fully submerged in this craft, and amazed what can be done with an axe.
Celi was a fantastic teacher, she had incredible patience and a lovely welcoming smile whenever I had a question or got a bit stuck. Her knowledge on spoon carving and what wood is the best to use is very impressive.
The workshop is nestled in the woodland and you really do feel close to nature. Also the real coffee, biscuits and delicious lunch that was laid on, topped an already lovely day off. "
