"A really good course, the bird house looks really good. Jan is a very good teacher, very friendly and helpful. I wanted something that would be useful and the Bird house suited, hopefully the birds will like it in the spring. I am not artistic, so I was surprised at the end result. Well worth doing as a starter for Powertex. "

"Another surprise birthday gift. Yesterday was the Dragon Book Box and today it was the Stone Heart. The course built on my new found skills from yesterday, the stone work was quite amazing. Jan was as welcoming as ever, even though she knew it was me returning... although she did lock me out to begin with🤭. Thanks again for a very enjoyable day."

"This was a wonderful experience of trying mediums that I'd not used before. The relaxing pace, in a homely environment and small group made the experience even more pleasurable. Jan was inviting and clearly natural at making us feel at ease whatever our level. Relaxed conversations all whilst guiding us through the stages of the splendid projects. She knew when to input guidance and when to allow our creativity to take over. It was delightful to have her facilitate my output of creativity delving deep into her craft stashes to present me with an array of choices that might fit the developing ideas generating in my head as I worked through the project. I'm so happy with my first time result and mainly due to Jan empowering that feeling that the journey of art should be fun! I look forward to doing further courses and recommend greatly the experience. "

"My daughter and I attended the ‘elegant lady canvas’ workshop and thoroughly enjoyed it. Jan was very welcoming and kept us well supplied with drinks and snacks. Her teaching was very clear and she guided us through the various techniques but also gave us lots of opportunities to apply our own creativity and ideas. I would thoroughly recommend this workshop."

"Did the gnome making workshop today.. I was so pleased with the end result. Jan is such a good tutor, patient, informative, and is so encouraging, it doesn't matter if you have previous knowledge of powertex or not, she takes you through step by step. "Visited Jan today for enjoyable resin dip wire flower workshop. She was welcoming and offered drinks straight away, and replenished during the workshop. There were aprons and gloves available. She explained the process and helped us to make a really pretty flower each, with one of us working faster and making a butterfly as well. Great starter workshop for this relaxing craft - we could easily carry on doing this at home now. Thank you!"

"My mum, sister and myself did the Powertex Gnome course just yesterday. Jan was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Jan gave us clear instructions and was on hand to help and guide us to make our best possible models. There were lots of embellishments available to use and lots of ideas to make our Gnomes one off’s. I would really recommend this course for all levels of experience for a few hours of messy fun. Thanks Jan, you were great 😊 "

"Fantastic class, and superb teacher! I book Powertex and stone art owl for a group of 4. After looking, I decided I would like to do the book cover instead, and Jan was happy to accommodate the chance. She is great at teaching, and great at putting people at ease. The youngest member of our group was very worried, and she was upset because she thought she was doing a different project. Jan immediately switched her project, and helped her to build her confidence. She was really happy at the end of the course. I'll definitely recommend the course, and I will be back at the first opportunity. "

We both made some beautiful flowers which were enhanced by the huge range of embellishments Jan had available for us to use. "I booked this course for myself and my Mum for a birthday present for my Mum. It really didn’t disappoint. We both had so much fun and Jan is absolutely lovely. We were both new to the craft and Jan walked us through it.
