"I would recommend this craft opportunity to all! This was a gift from my family for a significant birthday so I chose something different to my usual hobby making and so was a complete novice. Amanda was very patient, explains and demonstrates each step in detail and offers the time for you to practice. She was great at working at my pace and allowing me the time to work and supporting me to feel confident in making the pieces at each stage. We chose the glass that would work with the pattern and practiced cutting. It is in a relaxed atmosphere and space and she does a lovely bacon baguette. She also has some lovely pieces on display that I’m going to seek out on the website."

"What a wonderful day. Amanda made me and my daughter feel welcome from the minute we arrived. She is so knowledgeable and informative. We learnt how to cut glass and use a pattern. Next we used the grinder to help smooth out our glass. After that we learnt how to apply the copper foil round our glass. Then a break for lunch which was delicious. In the afternoon we learnt to solder our pieces together and came away with three lovely pieces each. I highly recommend this course. Thank you Amanda."

"Brilliant ! Thoroughly enjoyable day spent learning the process from a sheet of glass to finished hanging ornaments. Amanda is knowledgeable, friendly, personable and an excellent teacher. The whole day went at a good pace for us, we learnt loads and are delighted with our end products. The atmosphere Amanda has created is relaxed and her set up is lovely. 10/10 recommended. "We spent a day at Dragonfly Glass Art, making copper-foil glass sun catchers. Amanda was friendly and welcoming and checked what we already knew before starting. She gave a demonstration of glass cutting and then we had a chance to practice until confident before choosing the patterns for the pieces we’d make. Amanda has a good selection of patterns and, during the day we made three pieces each. Each technique was demonstrated clearly and then we were able to make our own pieces, with Amanda providing help when needed. I’m very pleased with what we made and would happily recommend this course. "

"My husband and I have just done the one day copper foil stained glass technique course and we have had a brilliant day and come away with four pieces of artwork that we love and are proud of. Special thanks to Amanda who is friendly, patient and knowledgeable and ensured we had an enjoyable productive day as well as providing drinks throughout the day and a tasty lunch. Would absolutely recommend this course to anybody interested in stained glass and we will be attending again at some later date. Amanda showed us some of her own work, and it is just so beautiful, and I think we know what we will be giving people for presents this coming Christmas!"

"An excellent day. I learnt lots of new techniques and practiced new skills. First there was cutting glass, then cutting glass following a pattern, using a grinder, copper foiling and soldering. I came away with three beautiful pieces of copper foiled stained glass. A wonderful one to one session with lots of support and helpful suggestions and tips. Great for someone new to stained glass or for a refresher course."
