Maker's bio

Established in 2016, Crafty Makes in the Lakes is situated in the Georgian town of Whitehaven on the west coast of Cumbria. Together with a number of hand-picked tutors, Kathy King teaches a wide range of textile crafts, from basic sewing skills, embroidery, needle-felting and mixed media to doll and Teddy Bear making. Workshops vary from 1 to 3 days, with optional on-site residential facilities.
