"What a wonderful way to spend a day !! I'm hooked on little felt creatures. Denise was very patient and helpful just the right amount of tuition and guidance throughout the day. We had a very enjoyable lunch at Bonds then got back to our animals. I was very pleased with the end result I came home with a lovely Harold Hare who has pride of place on the dresser. I'm inspired now to give it a go on my own with the starter pack which has all the goodies needed. Thanks again Denise"

"This was an excellent course. Before I attended, I was doubtful of my own ability but I came away from the course pleased with the hare I had made. I am confident that I can continue with this new found skill with the wool I bought at the end of the day. The whole day was most enjoyable, including the lunch. Everything was clearly explained and we were helped at each new stage to progress so that the day flew by and I would love to attend another course. It was fun to do something so different and I look forward to enjoying making more animals. I cannot recommend this course highly enough!"

"What a fabulous day! Denise introduced us to all the equipment and types of wool and techniques we'd need to make our chosen creature and it was a delight to find out that we could actually do this! All through the day Denise guided us through the process with a light touch, offering guidance and encouragement in equal measure. At the end of the day we all came away with our beautiful animals, all different with their own personalities. A very rewarding and satisfying day with an excellent teacher in a fabulous location. I came away with a starter kit to practice my new-found skills and I'd certainly do another course. I'd recommend without hesitation!"

I started the day not even knowing what needle felting was, feeling very doubtful that I would be able to make anything worth keeping. As it turned out I amazed myself with the lovely badger that I made (and amazed my family too!) I really recommend this day to anyone. It’s a great opportunity to get away from all the doom and gloom in the world, be in good company, enjoy lovely food in a super setting and go home with a little treasure."

"I have just spent a wonderful day stepping off the mad 21st Century treadmill with Denise and my fellow felting novices. What a brilliant introduction to felting. Denise is an engaging, down-to-earth lady who explained and demonstrated every step and gave us all the materials and support we needed to produce our own, completely adorable, dare I say it, little masterpieces to take home. Denise's lovely home and superb culinary skills added an extra dimension to the day. I cannot recommended this course enough - if I had my way, I'd sign up to attend every week."

"I attended the course on Monday 12th February as a Christmas treat to myself, as I had always wanted to try needle felting. The venue (Bonds) is easy to get to with lots of free parking. Denise is lovely and very patient, the pace of the course is great and we were able to ask lots of questions about techniques and wool types. The day flew by and before we knew it we were taking home a lovely little felted fox :) And the food - oh my gosh it was the nicest soup and sandwich i'd tasted in a long while and cake and coffee in the afternoon! It felt like a real treat of a day! I showed a friend what I had made and she wants to have a go to, so I suspect we'll be booking on another course in the very near future! One word of warning though - if you attend this course (if you are anything like me) you will: a) Become addicted to needle felting b) End up spending some more money in Bonds as they have so many lovely things on sale (I ended up with a lovely new scarf to end the day! To sum up - if you are a complete novice and want to give needle felting a go, book yourself on this course - you won't be disappointed. See you again soon Denise!"

"This was my second time on the course. I had enjoyed the first one so much I had immediately had a go at home and got the bug. It was great having a second go. I made a fox this time and learnt a few more aspects of needle felting. It was well worth the return visit and of course the teaching,setting,company (and food) made it another great day out. I would recommend the course for a first timer or as a refresh for anyone who has already had a go. Denise is a very good teacher and will instantly put you at ease and is very generous with her knowledge."

"I was drawn to this course after seeing pictures of Harry the Hare and signed up without even a clue what needle felting is - in other words a complete novice! Denise is an excellent tutor taking you through a quick and useful overview of needle felting and the tools. We then got straight down to business in easy bite size steps - with Denise keeping an eye on us and offering suggestions along the way. It was quite delightful watching the hares emerge from our wool - each with its own character and expression. I was very proud of mine and have been showing him off everywhere! My husband loved it and thought I had bought it which was a great reaction! The whole days package was superb and excellent value - the ambience of the venue is lovely, and delicious lunch and cake in the afternoon thrown in. If you are wondering whether to book - don’t hesitate, you will love it!"

"I was a complete novice to felting and Denise made me so welcome, encouraging me that I would surprise myself by the end of the workshop. Denise is an excellent coach and took us through the materials and equipment used before starting us off on our very own Harry (or was it Harriet?) Hare. It is a very relaxing craft and apart from needing to understand the basic principles and receiving some very helpful tips on technique, the outcome was guaranteed. Each creation had its own character and it was fun to see the other hares develop. I would totally recommend this as a day to spend learning and enjoying. Thank you, Denise. Hazelx"

"What a lovely day, start to finish and I have an impressive hare to show for it! Can't believe I actually made him but thanks to Denise for her expert tuition and also leaving room for your own creativity I feel I have the confidence to try something else at home. I already have an order for another hare. The silence at times was testament to the levels of concentration around the table and the 5 hours went in a flash. I may well sign up to do another course. A great skill to learn, oh and lunch was great too. Highly recommended, thank you Denise"

"This was an excellent course in a great environment. I am still amazed I was able to produce such a fantastic looking animal at the end of the process. The pace was just right and I went home armed with enough info and stuff to be able to have a go myself at home. That said because of the range of other things I could make and the great company I would consider doing it again."

"A most enjoyable day spent making a lovely hare. The course is excellent value for money as it included all materials plus drinks,lunch and afternoon tea and cake ( the course was held at Bonds ) The pace was just right and very relaxing. Denise is an excellent tutor very encouraging and just the right amount of guidance given. The opportunities for further projects are endless ( im attempting to do a 3d midel of my mums boston terrier) its an inspiring medium to work with and im really pleased I attended this workshop.
