Maker's bio

Hello, I'm Carole, an artist based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire and owner of Coco Shoel. I love to create contemporary stained & fused glass, jewellery and art with quirky elements and high detail, unravelling a visual story, a feast for the eyes! For 2 years I have been running fused glass workshops in my local area. It's an absolute delight to teach the joys of working with this exciting medium and I find that lots of workshop participants return to make more glass art. My workshops are friendly and inclusive and if you make an individual booking, you'll meet friendly faces and be made to feel very welcome. I am a member of the Contemporary Glass Society, UK ​
