"Great day. I learned so much and surprised myself at being able to create a small stained glass “jewelled” window to grace my gothic garden folly, with help and expert guidance from Nina. The studio/workshop is comfortable and well equipped and Nina is clearly a master (mistress?) of her craft. She is a superb teacher and has a cheerful and engaging personality which made the whole experience fun and rewarding. I can’t wait to receive my completed window once it’s been cemented and burnished by Nina. Thank you for a terrific day. Oh, and great cake!"

"What a fantastic day 🤩 First time doing a stained glass workshop, and loved every minute of it ! Nina was there at all times coming to our rescue when our scoring techniques went slightly off course ! She was not only an amazing teacher but also a generous and wonderful host. Our group felt at ease very quickly, welcomed and full of laughter throughout the day ! It was a wonderful setting and I recommend to anyone to do this workshop. It definitely brings the creativity out of you. Thank you Nina for this unforgettable day 😊"

"infinite number of stars for Nina! the day was magical. Learned so much about the process of stained glass, its history and the many possibilities of creativity within this artistry. So many giggles and smiles! gorgeous setting, impressive small-holding, Nina looked after us fantastic! thank you thank you I will remember this day and cherish my first stained glass :)"

"So I’ve come back from a 2 day painting on stained glass course with Nina Perrott ………I had an absolutely amazing time, she is so talented, her work is brilliant, she is very patient and the whole course was just perfect, I’ve never been a drawer or painter but with her skills I have produced some work that I’m very pleased with, I’m hooked and will be working out a project so I can go back and do some more, highly recommended."

"This is the second course I've completed with Nina at Clearsands Glassworks and the one that has evolved my practice the most. Nina is a fantastic teacher with a wealth of knowledge and experience. The course is set in the beautiful Devon countryside, seeped in nature. You'll enjoy watching the numerous wild birds feeding whilst eating Nina's homemade cake! Definitely well worth the money."

"This was such a lovely day! It’s in a beautiful setting and Nina guided us through with such patience. I was surprised at how many processes there are so I’m glad I kept my design quite simple. I’m so pleased with it! It fits perfectly in my kitchen window so I’m reminded of that sunny fun day every morning. Highly recommend doing this!! I’d love to do it again some time."

"It was a fantastic day never made stained glass window before and at the end of the day I had my first one finished, bar the cementing which Nina did and I collected a few days later. Nina’s patience, knowledge, teaching ability and hospitality made the day so enjoyable, time flew!"
