Howard March reviewed: Bladesmithing Experience Day

"Sad to hear this was the last course. All staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended if they restart."

Tim reviewed: Bladesmithing Experience Day

"Thoroughly enjoyable day. Graham, his son and grandson were great to work with and took us through the process expertly. We learnt a lot about how blades are made and the processes needed to make a good one. The final product was fantastic, I've never got my kitchen knives that sharp before! Graham was also a delight to talk to and being a metallurgist was happy to explain the processes and the science behind them. He was kind enough to spend time afterwards explaining how we can make and shape wooden handles for our knives at home. Overall a great day with great people!"

Neil reviewed: Axe Making Weekend

"Absolutely loved this weekend for my dad's birthday, we both had a great time and Graham & family were entertaining, knowledgeable and very helpful! The axes came out looking absolutely stunning and they're both very practical and sharp, cannot recommend this course enough. "

Leonard reviewed: Bladesmithing Experience Day

"Good fun day at the forge beating a length of iron into something that looks like a knife and then finishing it through the different phases of shaping, hardening, tempering and grinding then the final normalisation and polishing with an edge that can cut the hair on your arm. The sessions were well guided and the instructors were knowledgeable and could talk passionately about the subject. I would recommend this course."

Clarke Knives responded:

"Hi Leonard, Great that you enjoyed your experience with us and sorry I couldn't be there on Saturday to meet you. Regards, Graham Clarke"
