"I had a lovely day making a pair of socks the lady who taught me was lovely and explained everything in detail she had a lot of patience and didn’t rush me but let me take my time and ask any questions . She was clearly very knowledgeable I also had a lovely lunch lots of drinks and some biscuits I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in making socks on a knitting machine I went home with a lovely pair of socks"

"I had a great time and made a pair of socks by the end of the day. Lunch was delicious and the teaching was very informative and delivered with warmth and patience. I am feeling confident to buy the CSM I had my eye on today . First time I’ve done a craft course on here and really enjoyed the ease of booking, and responsiveness . Of course there’s lots of online help BUT you cannot trump a real one to one with learning a new skill. Thankyou very much! "

"A lovely day extending my knowledge of all things knit! A hand knitter of many years who had seen one of the vintage machines on holiday and it intrigued me to have a closer look. Julie was extremely patient and took the time not only to teach me the basics but also a little of the background behind the knitting machine and put up with my frustrations and mistakes. I came away with a pair of socks and two hot water bottle covers that I had made during the day. A course worth trying if you want to try something new and a must if you want to own one of these csm's as it is much easier to learn first hand."

"I was looking for a new skill, and Julie and her circular sock machines ticked all the boxes. Julie is a patient and clear teacher with the added bonus of a being a great cook. Lunch was scrummy. I left the day confident that I will be able to conquer my machine and produce a decent pair of socks in no time. It is reassuring that Julie is at the end of an email if a query arises. "Recently completed the one day circular sock machine workshop as I am interested in purchasing the equipment and starting a new hobby. Julie was great , very patient with all my questions and I learnt so much. I will definitely return when I have bought my machine as Julie will certainly help me set it up. Good transport links to the venue and the refreshments were delicious. All in all a really great day out exploring the world of socks."
