"Absolutely fantastic. Despite all the pictures, I really didn't think I'd be able to produce something that looked like an animal! I was amazed at what the whole group (mostly total novices) achieved in a day. Jill is a brilliant teacher, patient and friendly as were the other 4 people doing the workshop. I loved the fact we had free rein to choose what to make and didn't all do the same thing. "

"Jill is an amazing person and a great teacher! She went an extra mile to help me reschedule my class when I couldn’t get to the original lesson due my personal problems. I am soooo happy I got to this course as I really needed a kickoff to figurative ceramics. She shared quite a few tips which one can get only over years of experience and that really helped me (I’ve been in pottery for 6 yrs, mainly making functional tableware). I highly recommend her courses because they are so much fun! I am already thinking about the next time."

"I have been to a couple of Jill's workshops now and cannot praise them enough. Such a relaxed atmosphere and always good fun. Jill is so patient and always happy to demonstrate skills again and again until you understand. I always come away from her workshops sad that they are over but already looking forward to the next one. Such a unique experience and very rewarding as all my creations have come out amazing thanks to Jill's patience and expertise!"

This course reintroduced clay to me with some amazing instruction and guidance from Jill, I produced a dog that actually does look like a dog ?. Seriously if I can do this anyone can, give the courses a go you will not be disappointed."

"A great way to spend a Saturday! I have done four of Jill's courses now and have a few more booked up. I had never done any pottery before attempting my first chicken course but absolutely loved the day and the results were amazing thanks to Jill's guidance and support. I have learnt so much doing the courses and always enjoy the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. My creations are all sat on my kitchen table and they attract a lot of attention from friends and family! Can highly recommend these courses"

"A fab workshop! I honestly thought when I first saw the rabbit we were going to make ”there’s no way I’ll be able to do that...”. But with Jill’s calm step by step approach, it’s turned out wonderful and much better than I thought! Although it may seem like a long day, it goes by so quickly. Jill has endless patience and so much vision so when you think it’s going wrong, she’s there on hand to help you and guide you in the right way - a benefit of the group size being small you don’t have to wait long at all for her help and can easily watch and learn from each other. All in all a wonderful day, I made something I am proud of and can’t wait to do another!!!"

"I love Jill’s pottery courses. I have made a chicken, penguin and hare. Jill is an excellent teacher always happy to explain and give a demonstration of how to make your clay animal. I really enjoy being part of a group in a relaxed setting. It is very rewarding to start the day with a square lump of clay and by the end of the day you have a sculpture that you have painted, ready to be dried out and fired in the kiln. I would recommend this course to everyone."
