I did this course online, which was excellent. Doing a tutorial a week at a mutually agreed time meant I had time to practice techniques between lessons and produce a great body of work.

The Gyotaku workshop was inspiring and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Thank you to Deborah, who was generous with her time, and really interesting to speak with about this art form. I am really happy with my prints and loved that I had lots of opportunities to be experimental with them.

Had a really lovely time creating Gyotaku with Deborah. The course was excellent and it's amazing the effect you get from printing from a real fish! It was fun and we learnt enough to create more Gyotaku at home. I would definitely recommend Gyotaku with Deborah and St David's where we did the course is a great town (actually the smallest city in the UK), well worth a visit, nice shops, food and impressive cathedral. Thanks very much!

This course is great fun and the results are stunning. Deb is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We experimented with different fish, printing on fabric, wet and dry paper and introducing textures. I came away with so many ideas. Brilliant course. Thank you so much Deb.

As a complete beginner I spent a thoroughly enjoyable day with Deb, who was both knowledgable and encouraging. We looked at the elements of good textile design through existing design examples. This was followed by creating my own design based on plants found in the garden, which was eventually transferred into print. It's given me plenty of ideas and I'm now looking forward to furthering my experience of design and printing. Thank you Deb!
