"Cat King is skilled artist in her own right, but is able to teach at a beginner level in a very effective way. The course starts with some basics about colour mixing and different basic water colour techniques. You get painting straight away and Cat makes it easy for everyone to succeed and feel pleased with their results. Cat has a friendly and encouraging style which makes the classes fun and relaxed. It was great to spend two hours, each session, on something completely different from my day job. I found the time went quickly and I was looking forward to the next lesson. I highly recommend this course."

"Always wanted to try and paint, was a utter beginner. Cat was a great teacher, patient and always encouraging even when I thought it was all going wrong. Lovely class, warm, friendly and very relaxing. Would recommend to anyone who is an utter beginner. Like Cat kept saying to me "everyone can paint" and yes it was true I got there in the end and loved every minute of it."

"Always wanted to try watercolour but didn't think I could handle a lengthy course - this was perfect for me because I learnt so much in a short space of time. Cat is so patient, warm & friendly - the classes were relaxed and fun. I'm amazed at what we achieved in 5 weeks... all down to Cat's delivery of simple instructions & need-to-know information. "Cat is a wonderful lady who always makes me feel at ease and more courageous to try new things. Her experience and down to earth nature makes me feel comfortable to ask questions. Throughout my time learning at CatKingsArtSchool(?) I have learnt so many new techniques I can use across a variety of mediums. I had never known how to use watercolour paints before, and learning this skill was exciting! I looked forward to my weekly sessions and putting into practise my newly acquired knowledge.
