"I SO enjoyed the weekend workshop with Lyn and her Boo Bears! Lyn is a very welcoming and patient teacher, nothing was too much trouble and there was a lovely warm atmosphere the whole weekend. We had such a great time bringing our bears to life, if you are swithering about doing this workshop, don’t, book it now, you definitely won’t regret it!"

"Brilliant weekend. We made a real bear, jointed, hand sewn and full of character. Lynn welcomed us into her home, plied us with tea and biscuits and a lovely lunch and somehow, managed to coach us all to be our creative best and achieve on day 2, what seemed unlikely at 09.30 on day 1. The format was very easy going, relaxed and supportive, no question was a daft question type vibe and we were helped every step of the way. You need to be able to hold your own with a needle and thread, other than that, you soon pick up what you don’t know. ( Or Lynn does it for you ? ) It was a great feeling to be able to say the ‘F’ word and we were all super proud of our bears. Thanks Lynn, we had a great time and am sure will be back!"

"Boo Bears are adorable creatures. They are fun to make. Lyn is a talented accomplished teacher, she is patient and kind, She has a very calm, relaxing and confident way of teaching that puts you at easy. I suffer from social anxiety but never felt anxious at all when I attended. You are greeted with a warm welcome and a lovely cuppa. Kits and classes are extremely good value for money. You will love what you can achieve at boo bears. I recommend 100% I have created 4 bears and have 2 more planned for this year. Don't hesitate book today."

"Brilliant course and great teacher, met lots of lovely friends along the way - bonus was a little family of bears, a moomin and a Fox, all unique! Lyn provides everything and is really helpful when you need to get the hang of something (or when you get your ladder stitch wrong... again!) Highly recommended ?"

"You couldn't ask for a better teacher in the craft of hand-sewn bears than Lyn. She has years of experience making miniature jointed hand sewn mohair bears; Knowing the best way to work with the materials, the right stich size and the best strength of thread etc. Loads of mohair colours and hair lengths to choose from. Lyn's relaxed teaching style makes the atmosphere wonderful, we laughed our way through the bear making, when not concentrating on our stiches. Whether you want to make a smiling bear or the grumpy traditional bear face, Lyn has done them all and guides us well. At the end a beautiful mohair bear that will bring back lovely memories. It's definitely worth checking out the photos of Boo Bears. And it's in Cumbria, one of the best places in the world."

"A welcoming, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Lyn is a a very experienced, enthusiastic and knowlegable tutor, giving constant support to the group, during a step by step approach to creating your beautiful bear. Basic back stitching experience is advantageous to get the most out of the sessions. The end product us definitely worth the effort, 'Create something beautiful'. Once you've completed one you will be planning the next in no time."
