Maker's bio

I have been creating with china for over 5 years, a bit of fun turned into a relaxing & productive hobby! Always looking to remodel & repurpose unloved/unused china (& off-cuts of glass) into something that brings it back into modern living & a new lease of life, possibly keeping some beautiful memories alive! I have reworked many 'Grandma's china sets' into lovely creations such as cake & trinket sets, mosaic hearts & most popular of all, family member's initial as a personal, unique keepsake

"We enjoy being creative and Mosaicing was new for us. Had a great time and we love our coasters. Pat is very encouraging and a great teacher. Using old pottery also makes this craft very cost effective. Thanks so much for a wonderful 2 hours."

Blue Jelly Moon responded:

" So glad you enjoyed the workshop. There is something very satisfying remodelling something old into something new and giving it a second life. Hope to see you and Jacky again in the future x"

"I had a great time learning to Mosaic, great for beginners like myself, I was made to feel really welcome and came away with a lovely Mosaic heart (if you are quick you can do two). Added bonus Swarkstone nursery is good to look round and a nice cafe."

Blue Jelly Moon responded:

" Thank you Rosie. Glad you made it in the end! Hopefully see you again soon so you can add to collection :-)"

"Had a super morning learning mosaic art with Pat. Now I’m equipped to bring a broken sentimental plate back to life for a special anniversary!! Lovely group of people too, in a light and relaxing setting. Very therapeutic."

Blue Jelly Moon responded:

" So pleased you enjoyed the session, it was a full group, lively and sociable. Have fun recreating your broken plate and let me know if you need help. Hope to see you (& the ‘little one’) again soon!"
