Maker's bio

Scott has been upcycling furniture for many years, but it was only after family and friends asked how they could make the inventive pieces in his home that Scott first started sharing his skills. Over 7 years later Scott continues to host a number of Black Paw upcycling experiences in his workshop, helping people to create their own pieces of upcycled furniture and learn the skills needed to upcycle at home.

"The course was excellent, it was filled with top tips and advice as well as practical exercises. I wasn't well versed in 12v electrics but now feel confident in both fitting an external power socket but also all internal wiring. Scott was very good and answering all questions and giving superb advice on fitting as well as tools, equipment and parts. A very good course, tailored to what we needed as well as the start to finish process, fully recommended."
