Maker's bio

Scott has been upcycling furniture for many years, but it was only after family and friends asked how they could make the inventive pieces in his home that Scott first started sharing his skills. Over 7 years later Scott continues to host a number of Black Paw upcycling experiences in his workshop, helping people to create their own pieces of upcycled furniture and learn the skills needed to upcycle at home.

"Absolutely brilliant! I did the 2 day upcyling pallet course and had Scott all to myself on the first day! Both Scott and Sue are great and the homemade cake and biscuits were a fab bonus! I would have liked to have taken some notes to refer to in the future, so maybe some printed handouts on hints and tips and the different tools would be really helpful? I would throughly recommend any course with Black Paw . Can't wait to book up again!"

"Had an amazing day, learning about resin, creating lots of pieces to take home. My husband was most impressed at what I’d achieved. Scot explained things really well. A bit nervous before I started as I’d heard lots of horror stories on the internet when things had gone wrong. Feel a bit more confident in trying this new hobby at home. "
