"Hi, I bought this course as a gift for my hubby. It all went really well, he had a great time being chatty with other people and he learnt some new techniques he didn't know for working in glass. He said that the tutor April was interested and supportive and the space was lovely and safe. My only gripe was that he didn't come home with anything as it takes 1 day to fire and another to cool, but hey-ho that's working in glass for you. We did return two days later to pick up and everything was lovely including the lovely coffees and apple flapjack in the cafe. So Thanks April, that was a lovely birthday gift for my hubby."

"I absolutely loved this course with April. For anyone interested in glass then I would highly recommend any of Aprils courses and she is a very knowledgeable and organised teacher. This course started at 10am which gave me Perry of time to drive there from Bristol and it finished at 4pm with a break for lunch. You can either take your own lunch or buy lunch in the beautiful little cafe next door, either way the cafe allows you to take your own lunch in, which I did and I bought a drink and a cake as well as some beautiful reserves. We made 3 artefacts with April during the days course, a coaster, a wall hanger and a leaf infused piece, I was pleased with all the pieces I managed to make and thoroughly enjoyed making them all. There was a great selection of glass and April was very professional in her knowledge and health and safety instructions of working with glass. I would highly recommend this course to anyone starting their journey into wanting to learn more about glass infusion. April is also a trained artist working in all areas of glass making and runs other courses in stain glass making, copper glass as well as more advanced work for those wishing to continue after this foundation course. Thank you for a lovely day April. "

"April’s workshop is a hive of creativity- at the start of the session I was uncertain if I would see my design materialise in the six hour session but I had no need to worry. April is a hugely experienced and gifted artist in this medium and a gifted teacher, whose relaxed and inclusive approach puts her students at ease from the moment they enter this creative oasis at Rock Farm. The little cafe next door sells beautiful coffee, cake and toasties...go and book yourself on one of April’s courses, you will love every minute of it!"

"I had a great day last Saturday learning how to make a stained glass leaded panel. April is very relaxed & supportive, always there to help & encourage you. It was a small group & we all went away very pleased with our panels. April had a good choice of coloured glass with all types of textures & patterns. One of our group made a mirror. The workshop has a wonderful creative feel. I came away feeling relaxed & happy, & ready to learn more. The cafe next door was an added bonus with customers enjoying the sun with delicious food & drink. I thoroughly recommend anyone thinking of joining one of April’s workshops."

"We had a very enjoyable day with April in her workshop making a glass mosaic in a frame. April explained instructions succinctly and allowed us free rain with the materials available. She allowed us to get on with it, but was always available to help out when needed. Some of us needed a bit more time to finish and this was accommodated. Many thanks We left with a colourful creation and grout to be used the following day after the glue was fully set. "

"I enrolled for the large glass on glass mosaic day with April. There were 7 of us on the course. April provided all the materials we needed and we each had a workstation and instructions. The day was very enjoyable and we all went away with a completed picture for grouting at home."
