I am a glass artist specialising in fused and flameworked glass and glass jewellery. I fell in love with glass and did my first flameworking class back in 2003. After being based at Royal William Yard for nearly 10 years, I have recently moved to a bigger studio at City Business Park in Stoke, Plymouth.
I have been fortunate to learn my craft through masterclasses with some of the world’s best glass artists including Narcissus Quagliata, Craig Mitchell Smith, Helen Gorrick, Anouk Jasperse, Bea Stoertz, Heather Trimlett, Sabine Frank, Claudia Trimbur-Pagel, Clare Hall, Bob Leatherbarrow and many others, along with many hours of hard work in my studio.
I have worked in education for over 20 years in schools, colleges and university and have been teaching glass since 2017. As well as teaching in my studio, I also teach at other lovely venues in Devon and Cornwall. I also teach private and corporate workshops at other venues. I love teaching all ages from adults to children as young as 5. I think glass is a such stunning, versatile and unique medium that everyone should have a chance to try it. I really love seeing people’s joy (and often surprise) at their beautiful, unique glass creations.

"I spent a lovely evening making fused glass decorations with Annette and can highly recommend her sessions. She was welcoming and friendly, explained the choice of decorations well, and demonstrated simply and clearly. The equipment was clearly presented in individual boxes and once we started our projects, Annette was supportive and kind. Refreshments were generous and I came away having made 9 small pieces and feeling very satisfied and well looked after- thank you Annette! "
Annette Daly Glass responded:
"Thank you so much for your lovely review Mandy. I am so glad you enjoyed the evening and look forward to hopefully seeing you at another workshop in the future. All the best Annette"
"An absolutely brilliant evening, Annette generously gives the class some excellent teaching and sharing of extensive resources.
This workshop was a birthday gift; I have definitely created some special memories and a treasure to keep forever. "
