"I arranged for 10 members of my family to attend a morning workshop at Ania's Original as part of my 30th Birthday. A few members of my family (the guys mainly) were a little unsure what to expect but Annie welcomed us in, walked us through all the options available and presented great examples for ideas. Within an hour my dad was cutting interlocking circles to create a logo for his cider business and my husband was making a beautiful seascape. Nothing was ever any trouble, even if some of the ideas were a bit different and Annie offered support and advice all the way through. Not to mention the lovely cakes, punch and tea/coffee available. Everyone created fantastic and very different pieces and I think secretly the guys enjoyed it even more than we did! I know that the pieces are already proudly on display. The workshop was fun and enjoyable and you should definitely give it a go, you won't be disappointed. We certainly will be going back for another workshop soon! Thank you."

"This was an excellent workshop which I thoroughly enjoyed and is fantastic value for money. I chose to make something rather complicated and Annie gave me a great mix of encouragement, support and help and I am delighted with the result. The group size is perfect, the hospitality is great and Annie is a knowledgeable, interesting and patient tutor. There is a good mix of teaching and hands on practice, a huge range of glass to use and many techniques to learn. I loved it so much I am going back and taking my mother in law to the beginners class next year. I think this could be a the second of many visits !"

"We had such a lovely time on Saturday, we were welcomed by John and then Annie, and felt relaxed from the start. The tuition was clear and detailed and my questions were answered clearly. Ann is a great tutor and very talented. I would highly recommend these courses to anyone. You don't need glass cutting experience, as Annie let us practice on plain glass to get confident. I have made a hanging plate and a set of jewellery, which I can't wait to collect. I could have made more, but time just flew round. Lunch and drinks were included and the lunch was so lovely. I totally enjoyed the whole day, thank you."

"I was given a gift voucher for this course as a birthday present from my sister. I had wanted to try something different and this course looked great. I had seen a piece I wanted to copy and Ann had all the bits prepared for me when I got there. There were simple demonstrations and then lots of time to practice. Ann was always on hand to give guidance or suggestions. Lunch was very nice and the facilities suited. I cannot wait for my finished piece and have already began planning my next piece."

"What an exciting day we had. A group of 6 of us went on a one day workshop and made 3 pieces of glass art and 3 pieces of jewellery. We were amazed at how each of us made such a variety of styles and colours. Annie helped us all enormously. Lunch was provided making it a really good day out and we now go back about 4 times a year and have learned a lot of different techniques. Can't recommend this workshop enough"

"I came to the workshop as a friend thought I would enjoy it. Was not sure how it would work as not happy about cutting glass and cutting myself. However, not a problem Ann was such a help and before you got into making something she talked through the tools and you had to practice with the tools and different glass before she let you loose on the material you would use. Very informative, very relaxing, albeit you want to make sure your work is what you want it to be, this being achieved with help from Ann when you needed it. Very sociable, lots of cups of tea and naughty things to eat, and always a super lunch, so no need to cook when you get home. I have made a variety of things. I usually put a copy of what I want to make in Ann's front door a week before I go so she can get the colour glass I need. Can't believe how enjoyable it is. Than you Ann."

"Have enjoyed creative workshops in which I have made pictures, boats Christmas decorations, candle holders jewellery. I have been taught how to cut glass and the different glass to use, how to use powders. Best of all I have been inspired by Ann."
