"My wife and I joined Rudi in his wonderful workshop and had an absolutely amazing day. Rudi talked us through some principles of forging, explained the tools and equipment involved and introduced us to to forge iteself. We were then guided through making a simple ornamental object to develop our skills (zero before today). We brought some ideas along on the day and Rudi was more than happy to work with us to bring our plans to life. We came home with a collection of ornate coat hooks that we're really proud of and I can't wait to put up on the wall. Highly recommended!"

"I had a lovely day at the Forge with Rudi. I hadn't done anything like this since I was at school (50 years ago). Made a couple of small items to get a feel for the work and then Rudi helped me make the blade for a Japanese style garden hoe. Very pleased with how it turned out. A beautiful location but in winter you need to have plenty of layers. I'm local to the area, so found the forge reasonably easily - for people travelling further I think a map would be very useful. Really recommend this course - I'm intending to get a place for my son. "
