Wire wrap a seaglass pendant with Lindsay Forbes; Durham

X

Description

Join Lindsay Forbes of Laconic in this course where you'll learn to use a variety of wire wrapping techniques to encase your won piece of seaglass to create a pendant. In this workshop you'll learn how to wrap a piece of seaglass using two different techniques. One is a very simple wrapping technique to showcase the stone. The other is more more advanced, incorporating spirals into your design. You'll then be able to create a cord necklace, attaching findings to your chosen cord on which you'll hang your pendant. This course is designed to share a variety of techniques which you can interpret into your own designs, the project completed is mostly up to you, to get creative using the techniques learned. Lindsay will provide examples to give you inspiration! You can expect to make at least one piece of jewellery, but you may find yourself creating 2 or 3, (maybe more!). If you'd like to create your pendant in silver wire, there will be the option on the day to purchase this at an additional cost.
