Wild Food Foraging & Cookery Devon

X

Description

Join us at The Ground Up Cookery School and create a range of tasty food and drinks using foraged, seasonal and local ingredients. Based within the beautiful Dartmoor National Park in the heart of Devon, this two-part course begins at the school for refreshments before departing for a guided walk. We will assist you in identifying and collecting a range of seasonal fruit, nuts, leaves, roots or fungi to take back to the Ground Up Cookery School Kitchen for the second part of the day. The afternoon will be spent cooking some amazing dishes. You will learn general skills as well as specific delicious recipes, to replicate at home. No prior experience is necessary, however if you are an experienced cook, you will have the opportunity to push yourself further. We will taste all the dishes on the day, but bring containers as there will be the opportunity to take some home to share with your friends and family! The course content will vary with the seasons, no two dates will be the same.
