An opportunity to learn how to make mosaics in a relaxed, creative environment in Martineau Gardens, Birmingham. Your tutor Claire Cotterill, has over 25 years experience in creating bespoke mosaics for interior and exterior environments in public, private, community and educational settings. Claire is a professional member of the British Association of Modern Mosaics and was a committee member in its formative years. On her courses, whether a beginner or with a little experience, she will assist you in learning new skills and creating something wonderful for your home. Looking for a unique gift? An ideal creative treat for that special person! This two day intensive course focuses on using the 'indirect' method of making mosaics, ideal for achieving a flat surface. You will learn how to cut and place various types of tiles and complete a small mosaic to take home at the end of the day. Have you got a project in mind?
