Description

An opportunity to get Christmassy! Learn how to make a mirror star mosaic for Christmas in my home studio in Moseley, Birmingham. Your tutor Claire Cotterill, has over 25 years experience in creating bespoke mosaics for interior and exterior environments in private, community and educational settings. She is a professional member of the British Association of Modern Mosaic and was a committee member in the early years of its inception. On this one day course, Claire will introduce you to the art of making mosaics, how to cut and place tiles. You'll have the opportunity to create a mirror star mosaic, as a gift for a loved one or something to add a little sparkle to your home! You'll learn skills to create mosaics independently after the course. Contact Claire through CraftCourses via the 'message the tutor' button to discuss your ideas. Have you got a project in mind? Come and have a go, suitable for age 12+ (with an accompanying adult) and above and no previous experience necessary.

What's included in the price?

All materials and tuition are included in the course price, plus as much tea or coffee as you can drink in a day and of course cake and a few biscuits! You're welcome to bring your own lunch or there are some great cafes available locally. Course runs from 10am - 4.30pm, please arrive 10 mins beforehand for a start at 10am.
