Description

A new and exciting series of workshops looking at the characteristics of specific tree species and what you can create from them. Each session will explore carving wood from that tree as well as looking at its natural dyeing properties and other associated uses. Create your own miniature wood and colour swatch library as well as completing different projects per session. These are ideal workshops to gain confidence with hand tools, working with wood, dyeing skills and learning about trees! These sessions will take place usually on the 3rd Saturday of 8 months of the year, and give you an opportunity to explore tree types in depth.
