Our Christmas wreath making course is the perfect way to spend a little time relaxing and learning a new skill before the lead up to the ‘big day’. Join a group event or gather a six of your friends together for a tailored workshop on a date to suit you all.
The class is informative but fun and guests are invited to arrive from 10.00am for freshly ground coffee and shortbread warm from the AGA. By 10.30am and once everyone has had the opportunity to meet the other guests we will settle in front of the roaring log fire and Lisa will demonstrate the stages of making a beautiful wreath to adorn your front door, perfect for welcoming your guests this Christmastime.
You will have ample time to follow every step and enjoy the process of assembling a natural decoration.
Everything you will need to make your fresh foliage garland will be provided, but in addition you are more than welcome to bring your wellingtons and a warm coat to explore our gardens and select additional evergreens for your own truly unique creation. That is if you can be coaxed to leave the warmth of the AGA and the open fire!
Add the finishing touch to your individual wreath with our luxurious selection of traditional ribbons. We promise you will be spoilt for choice.
Finally if you cannot wait to practice your new found skills once you return home, then you can buy one of our kits which includes everything you will need to make another. All you need to do is add the foliage. An ideal gift to make for a friend or loved one.
We will break for a vegetarian lunch at approximately 1pm and the day will draw to a close at approximately 3.30pm but not before everyone has had the opportunity to complete a beautiful handcrafted wreath to hang on their door.
There will be ample freshly ground coffee and Dorset tea, lots of fun and chat, along with home baked treats to keep us all in the festive mood throughout the workshop.

Have just spent a very special day making a Christmas wreath with Lisa. On arrival we were treated to home made muffins and hot coffee then onto the wreath making. Half way through the day lunch was served, all home made, very delicious. The day passed quickly and all too soon it was over. Lisa is a wonderful teacher, nothing too much trouble but equally not standing over you. She was able to skilfully guide everyone to make beautiful Christmas wreaths. Thank you, will be back next year.
All Hallows Farmhouse Cookery School:
Many thanks indeed for taking the time to write a review following your day here at the farmhouse creating a Christmas wreath to hang on your door.
I loved our chats about AGA cookery and as promised will send some cookery tips to you for preparing your family dinner this festive season.
We are also delighted to read that you enjoyed your freshly baked English muffins that we served with tea and homemade marmalade when everyone arrived. As well as enjoying lunch beside the log fire in the dining room.
We wish you a wonderful Christmastime and very much hope to welcome you here to the farmhouse another time.
All best wishes Lisa
