Traditional mohair teddies - Milo beginner's class - Heritage Workshop, Ilkley

Milo, Traditional Mohair Teddy

This workshop is spread across two workshops - each 3 hours long.

Milo is an adorable, mischievous, traditional jointed teddy bear. He is 23cm high when standing, 17cm when sitting.

Learn teddy-making skills and the fascinating heritage of mohair bears from Milo's designer, Jacqueline Schultz, owner of Jacqueline’s Bears.

Milo's authentic appearance is thanks to his Steiff Schulte Ratinee 100% mohair ruffled coat as well as his movable cotter pin joints, his British-made glass eyes and his endearing features.

You don't need any previous bear-making experience but we do recommend you have basic sewing skills.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

Class includes Jacqueline Bears' Milo kit, designed exclusively for Duttons for Buttons. Jacqueline also has an online video if you need help after the class has ended.
