Michelle (our lovely resident tutor) said to tell you that the method of this quilt is called Sawtooth, in a Sawtooth, in a Sawtooth, If that doesn't intrigue you I don't know what will! This is a quilt you can really get your teeth in (forgive the pun) It is put together using the Magic 8 method that Michelle will show you on the day. You will learn how to perfect half square triangles to make the magic begin. A lovely new method if you love patchwork and haven't used this done this before.
What's included in the price?
Tea and coffee and maybe a biscuit or two :) are provided free of charge all day. You will need to bring your own sewing machine and accessories although if this is a problem give us a call and we can arrange for you to use one of our machines. You will need to bring your own patchworking equipment and fabrics, a list will be sent to you via email with all you will need for the day.

Busy Bees has been in business since 1998, we are situated in the grounds of Tredegar House in Newport just off jct 28 of the M4. Our shop opens from Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm. We have beautiful fabrics and embroidery items as well as a comprehensive workshop programme. We also offer City & Guilds 7161 hand and machine embroidery We are wheelchair friendly and have disabled facilities in our Studio, easy parking and are happy to carry your equipment from your car
