New York Beauty foundation pieced wall hanging with Sarah Leach

Sarah was due to teach with us the year of the Pandemic. Thankfully she can now come and share her passion and skills with you to create this mini quilt or wall hanging. Made with the foundation piece method it makes those sharp points achievable. Not for beginners but something to stretch your skills if you want to take your patchwork piecing to the next level. Sarah organises a quilt swap and she will tell you all about that on the day, when you join her to create the New York Beauty Mini quilt. This is something a little bit different and I am sure you will enjoy it and Sarah is such a lovely tutor you will have the best time.
What's included in the price?
Tea and coffee are provided free of charge all day and maybe a biscuit or two if you fancy it :) You will need to bring your sewing machine and accessories, although if this is a problem we can loan you a machine for the day. You will need to bring your own choice of fabrics, although we are a quilt shop and you can purchase fabrics on the day. A list of requirements will be sent out a few weeks prior to the course via email.

Busy Bees has been in business since 1998, we are situated in the grounds of Tredegar House in Newport just off jct 28 of the M4. Our shop opens from Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm. We have beautiful fabrics and embroidery items as well as a comprehensive workshop programme. We also offer City & Guilds 7161 hand and machine embroidery We are wheelchair friendly and have disabled facilities in our Studio, easy parking and are happy to carry your equipment from your car
