Crazy quilt with a fun and crazy tutor, you are guarenteed to have a fun day bringing this very Victorian inspired craft into the 21st century. With its roots in make do and mend many vintage crazy quilts would contain fabrics from many sources such as dresses, curtains, old bedspreads that would then up in a crazy quilt. Some are very highly decorated and Louise will show you how to put it together and hopefully have time to start embellishing so that you can continue at home. This is a great class to use those decorative stitches on your machine, perfect class too to use up fabric scraps from other projects!

What's included in the price?

You will need to bring your own equipment, sewing machine and fabric to this class. A list will be sent prior to the start of the class. Bring a packed lunch or there are places to purchase food within a short walk from Busy Bees Patchwork. Tea, Coffee and biscuits will be provided free of charge all day.

Busy Bees has been in business since 1998, we are situated in the grounds of Tredegar House in Newport just off jct 28 of the M4. Our shop opens from Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm. We have beautiful fabrics and embroidery items as well as a comprehensive workshop programme. We also offer City & Guilds 7161 hand and machine embroidery We are wheelchair friendly and have disabled facilities in our Studio, easy parking and are happy to carry your equipment from your car
