Still Life Oil Painting three day workshop at Moor and Sea, set on Exmoor surrounded by stunning views and only Five minutes from the sea. This course will teach you all that you need to know to make your own still life oil paintings. The course will include sessions on selecting subjects, still life composition and lighting, as well as a thorough explanation of preparing surfaces, preliminary drawing etc. Over the three days you will create your own still life painting, progressing from an initial idea through to a full colour block in and then final detailing. Throughout the course the tutor will demonstrate the techniques that you will employ including control of values, colour and edges. This course is ideal for beginners or artists with some experience of oil painting who would like to move their art to the next level.

As well as running her own workshops in stained and fused glass she hosts courses run by other artists in oil painting, batik and Indian miniature painting. These inspirational workshops are held in the lovely airy art studio at Moor and Sea Holidays with beautiful views over Exmoor.
