Description
This creative and alternative festive class is perfect for beginners, as you will be guided through each step with patience and enthusiasm. You will learn how to decorate wooden Christmas tree, door or window hangings, all embodying the quirky steampunk spirit. You'll use a wonderful array of materials, from gears and cogs to vintage paper ephemera and other embellishments, to create one-of-a-kind pieces to adorn your home. This hands-on and friendly seasonal workshop takes place in a welcoming home studio, just a stone's throw away from the local beach. Children of 13+ are welcome accompanied by a paying adult. Please note that this is a 'no smoking' environment. Please bring indoor shoes or socks - thanks.

Hello, I'm Lou I love inspiring others to develop their artistic skills in a fun and relaxed environment. I enjoy the phrase: ‘I can’t draw or craft’ and take great delight in showing that, actually, you can! Since retiring, I opened an online shop and began designing and selling art and craft items in steampunk, shell, bark and shabby chic styles, plus craft kits for adults and children. Whilst employed, I developed and taught art and craft workshops for businesses and Learning at Work days. I am a trained adult lecturer. I look forward to meeting and welcoming you to my West Sussex Studio.

FAQs
Public Bookable Classes are run on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00am to 6.00pm.
Private Classes can be organised by request from 10am to 8.00pm finish and as long as I'm available I will do my best to accomodate.
Yes, private workshops are available as listed or we can work together to design a course specifically to your requirements and timings. Just contact me to discuss.
