Description

Our sparkling felt stars project pack has everything you need to create four ivory felt hanging decorations with a sparkling hand embroidered “wire wrap” design. All you need to do is choose the designs and embroider each star with a simple split stitch. This is a great project for those new to embroidering on felt using specific techniques to create a design without marking the image on the fabric. Once embroidered, the pieces are put together with the wadding and sewn using a small blanket stitch. These delightful little stars measure about 8cm x 8cm x 5mm when complete and look great on the Christmas tree or strung on a garland. We have used four lovely thread colours; ruby, gold, twilight (iridescent lilac) and kiwi. Everything is pre-cut and the threads supplied are the highest quality Madeira metallic and cotton mouline. The kit comes complete with materials, designs and full instructions and makes a great gift. Basic Skills required: You will already need to know how to do a back stitch, running stitch and a blanket stitch and be familiar with how to use stranded embroidery threads. We always carry a supply of coloured felt so If you require another colour option, please just ask and we can easily put the pack together for you. Shipping: *This item includes shipping to UK addresses only.* All items in the UK are shipped free of charge via Royal Mail 2nd Class and may be upgradeable to 1st class. Parcels valued over £20.00 have to be sent via the signed for service unless requested otherwise at the buyers own risk. In all cases we obtain proof of posting.
