Description

Pre cut and easy to put together with full instructions, this British wool felt cloud and multi coloured raindrop wall hanging will make a lovely addition to a nursery or child's room. A great project to practice your blanket stitch. Stitch tutorials are not included so you will need to know how to split stitch, back stitch, running stitch and blanket stitch. Nine felt raindrops in the colours of the rainbow hang from a pure white lightly padded cloud with a happy smiling sunshine making his appearance over the cloud. The kit is made from certified EN71 British wool felt and upholstery grade Polyester wadding. Finished length is approx. 33cm. All supplied in a recycled white box. This mobile will look great hung in the centre of a window or on the wall. Standard colours: Bright - 1 each - Cornflower, Apple, Purple, Coral, Sunflower, Teal, Raspberry, Orange and Yellow. Colours may vary slightly with different dye batches but will be as close as possible to those shown. Please remember that screen settings may show colours slightly differently. This is not a toy: Although we have used no hard components, small pieces represent a choking hazard, so please hang the mobile out of reach of babies, young children and pets.

(Measurements are approximate): - Pre cut wool mix felt pieces - 1 large cloud 27 x 16 x 5cm and 9 different coloured raindrops 5 x 4 x 1.5cm - 1 sunshine 8cm dia. with hand embroidered face. - Wadding, threads, needles and threaded hanging ring.

What you will need

Thread scissors and a knitting needle or skewer to help with stuffing. Some basic stitching experience - Stitch tutorials are not included so you will need to know how to split stitch, back stitch, running stitch and blanket stitch.

"This kit arrived earlier this week and is nicely packaged and has everything needed to make the item. The instructions look clear and the end product looks like it will be beautiful (depending on my skill!). The only reason I didn't give this 'excellent' is due to the fact that there's no print out for the stitches required, I'm going to look them up on YouTube as I think I know what I'm doing, but a simple print out showing how to do these stitches would be useful for others. Overall, I'd buy this kit again, or another kit from the same maker."
