Soapstone carving weekend courses. Hello, I am Christophe, a working sculptor, who much enjoys teaching others how to create art in this easy material... Soapstone is a beautiful easy stone to carve needing little physical effort - so quickly producing results. £150 covers one weekend workshop - Saturday and Sunday, 10 - 4pm each day. There are up to 6 students per weekend. I will show basic techniques and lead you through the whole process - soon you will be on your way. Come with drawings of ideas that you would like to carve, or I can send you inspiring pics of sculpture - do ask and I’ll send.
What's included in the price?
Stone included, tools provided. Coffee, tea etc... Bring yourself a bite to eat for lunch. I am there to inspire you and help you end up with a lovely sculpture... welcome!
