Description

This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous jewellery making experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills to create their own statement silver pendant with leatherette cord or silver earrings. During this workshop you'll learn techniques such as measuring, cutting, melting, forming, soldering and finishing techniques to create your own unique squiggles in silver. You will then learn how to attach findings to create them into your chosen piece of jewellery. You'll be able to practise some shaping techniques in copper first before working in silver. During this workshop refreshments will be provided. Places are limited to eight people on this workshop to allow individuals sufficient time with Lindsay to assist with each project.

What's included in the price?

- Use of required equipment/tools. - All materials to make: x1 pair of earrings or x1 pendant in silver with a cotton cord. - On hand experienced tutor to instruct and guide you through the course. - Tea/coffee & biscuits/cakes (vegan and gluten free snacks available).

Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing.
