Pearl (Bead) Stringing Course | Sedgefield
Description
This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous jewellery making experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills to create their pearl bracelet. During this workshop you'll learn a basic pearl stringing technique, using some knotting skills and learning to add findings to create your own bracelet. We'll be using a variety of dyed coloured pearls but this technique is transferrable to other beads and gems, you'll gain a better understanding of stringing these too during this workshop. Places are limited to ten people on this workshop to allow individuals sufficient time with Lindsay to assist with each project.

Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!
