Description

If you have always wanted to learn about the craft of making a piece of silver jewellery, our interactive workshop is a really fun way to do so. We have a cosy workshop space in Exeter, where you will learn about the whole process involved in making a beautiful piece of jewellery. This course is for a bangle, please see my other courses for other items by scrolling down to 'see all listings'. This is a great experience day to give as a present or to book for yourself! We have space for two people in the workshop, so you have great dedicated support. The course is based on a piece that can be completed during this time, therefore a basic design and shape/size is offered, so that all elements of this course can enable you to get a taste of silversmithing, and leave the course with a shiny new item of jewellery. If you have a specific style or item you would like to make, bespoke courses can also be arranged. Silver material may vary depending on availability. Small copper enhancements can be added at no extra cost. Please note, the full address details and parking details are sent once booking has been made, make sure to take note as the postcode is different to the location details on the listing. Important note: Please select 'message the maker' with your preferred date.

What's included in the price?

I've designed and made silver and gold jewellery for 27 years, learning it first as a hobby at evening classes, then onto the Mid Devon School of Jewellery to hone specific skills of the craft, and then perfecting this over many years. I prefer working in the old silver-smith style, with basic tools to create lovely unique pieces of jewellery. The workshop is designed to give an insight into the basics and share some of the skills I've learnt.
