Print Spa: 4 people - adventures in printmaking

CREATIVE SPA day ~ four hours for four people. Please note that all dates have been made available for ease but I will confirm with you date and time to suit and availability! I would like to offer you the opportunity for a relaxing day of exploring and playing in my print studio. This session is designed for you to share time with friends enjoying a relaxed studio space. For your CREATIVE SPA day, you’ll have access to a range of equipment and materials to inspire your creativity and exploration, including: - Printing Press: Ideal for linocut, monotype, and other relief printing techniques. - Linocut Tools: Carving tools, rollers, and cutting mats for creating your own unique designs. - High-Quality Paper: A selection of different papers for printing, including smooth and textured options. - Inks: A variety of printing inks to experiment withs suitable for linocut, dry point, gelli, silk screen and monotype. - Collage Materials: Found textures, fabric scraps, and other materials for mixed-media creations. - Drawing Supplies: Pencils, charcoal, and pastels for sketching and planning your prints. Enjoy this time to play, explore, and create at your own pace, with gentle guidance available if needed. It’s the perfect way to relax and connect with your artistic side in the company of friends.

(Please feel free to bring any fancy paper or fabric you would like to use.)

Maker
Aprille is a visual artist exploring printaking to creates bold floral images on paper and large public art installations. She works from her cosy studio in Sheffield. Her process explores and observes the seasonal changes and the utter hope that flowers bring. As an educator, Aprille has championed individual creativity for over 14 years, she has a knack of taking the 'arty' out of making and encourages you to explore and have a go.
