Fancy a private pottery session with your friends and, or family? You will have the sole use of the beautiful garden studio, filled with light and set in a Mediterranean-style garden. Spend a wonderful session in a beautiful garden gallery 'playing' with clay. After introductions, I will guide you step-by-step in building a beautiful fancy pot in earthenware clay. You'll begin by planning and designing your lino. This is cut into and, when finished, it is used to decorate the clay by pressing into the clay. The clay is then made into a 'fancy pot'. I'm Amina, an artist with over 25 years of teaching experience to children & adults. I work from my beautiful Gainsborough studio/ gallery and specialise in pottery, acrylic painting and, watercolours. Clay is such a beautiful medium to work with. It is great for mindfulness and, relaxation. The fancy pot takes approximately 2 weeks to dry out. Once dry, I fire it to a bisque state. Next, I apply a glaze clear to your piece, and, make a glaze firing in the kiln. The pottery can be collected at an agreed date or, I can post it to you, P & P will be charged. The price includes everything. Just bring an apron &, a sense of adventure.

You choose the day, time, medium and subject. My gallery has a permanent exhibition of my work. I now offer pottery sessions, and hand-building using slab, coil & pinch pot techniques. Workshops are a maximum of 6 which ensures quality tuition.
