Request your preferred date - available all year. 1-2-1 Furniture Painting & Painting Techniques: Would you like to learn the Tricks of the Trade from a Professional Furniture Artist, enjoying 1 to 1 tuition? No experience necessary - we will walk you through, step by step! Do you love the idea of upcyling & painting your furniture but just don't know where to start? If the answer is "Yes" you need to book onto a personal tuition day with artist Carolanne, from The Furniture Painting Company in Darlington. This workshop is guaranteed to to change the way you look at old furniture! I will show you how to reinvent the old, creating beautiful designs on vintage furniture, and show you how to transform new furniture into something truly exquisite! We will cover paint techniques, how to avoid brush strokes, choosing the right paint for your projects, colour, texture, and an absolute treasure trove of skills you will absolutely love! You can bring a small piece of furniture - a bedside table, a coffee table, mirror or stool are ideal. Just make sure that it is sturdy and give it a quick wash down if it is too grimy. All other prep will be done at the beginning of the workshop. There will be demonstrations & heaps of practical work for you to get your teeth into! All materials and course notes, delicious lunch & refreshments are provided and you will have access to our full range of paints, gilding waxes, and stencils. The cost of this fabulous 1-2-1 tuition day is £195 and will be held at The Furniture Painting Company Studio based in Darlington.
