Learn all of the silversmithing details that goes in to making two to three of your favourite pieces! During this full day course you will learn everything there is to know about making two or three different types of jewellery out of sterling silver. This workshop mostly focuses on the techniques used, which will allow you to carry on progressing your skills confidently. Along with these you will also learn some other techniques such as how to make jump rings, other findings and about different finishes for your jewellery. Your tutors Brittany and Andrew will be on hand to show you the optimal techniques and give advice but aside from that you will create everything yourself. We will have a book of guide projects on hand which you can personalise and add your own finishes and patterns to. The things you can create will be bangles, pendants, rings, earrings, charms etc. There will be a short break during this workshop in which you can go out to get lunch in one of the plenty of nice cafes around the north dock area. Alternatively, feel free to bring your own lunch. This class is limited to a maximum of four participants so that you constantly have a tutor to help you personally. No previous experience necessary.
