Mix a watercolour from pigment and create a monochrome painting with artist Karin Christensen
Description
We will mix a black colour from pure pigment, learning the steps of making our own watercolour paint. We will practice grinding the pigment and mixing with other ingredients, to give us an artist quality watercolour. We then create a monochrome artwork where we practice painting values (lights and darks) and explore the possibilities of using just one colour. Take home your new paint and a recipe which you can use for all watercolours, plus your artwork and new ideas. Open to everyone. Limited to 8 attendees.
