Mirror making tufting workshop - Beginners

Delve into a unique realm of creativity with our Mirror Workshop. This session offers a comprehensive introduction to the art of rug making, covering everything from how to operate a power tufting machine to the nuances of trimming and finishing your tufted pieces. By the end of this 3-hour session, you'll have garnered a new skill set and have your very own tufted rug to treasure. In this workshop, you'll have access to a frame that accommodates pieces up to 40 x 40cm. Feel free to choose any design you'd like to transform into a rug, though we recommend opting for simpler designs for the best outcomes. Don't worry if you're new to this - no previous skills are required for this workshop, and we'll provide all the materials you need. Please note that tufted mirrors will take up to one week to back and finish due to their unique nature. We offer a postage service for your finished rug at a cost of £4, which can be paid on the day of your workshop. To ensure a smooth crafting experience, we kindly ask you to send us your chosen design at least three days prior to your scheduled workshop. This allows us to prepare everything in advance. Welcome to Tadatuft – a tufting studio located in the heart of Leeds City Centre. We hold daily workshops, private events and make custom rugs. Our mission is to create a comfortable place for you to gain a new skill and in the meanwhile, to have quality time with your friends/families. We believe everyone has a sense of creativity, with our unique teaching method and guidance, you can turn all your ideas into something meaningful no matter you are the most confident artist or someone who never thought they could make anything. Tufting is indeed a dusty and messy activity, however, it is always satisfying to see something beautiful come out of it :)
