Mindful Mark Making with Inks

Mindful Mark Making with Claire Hiett. We are really excited that Claire is returning to Mud and Wool to share her skills and the process of what she made during her artist residency here in January 2024 . In this session, you will explore a variety of ways to make marks with mixed materials including ink, watercolour and pens, culminating in some expressive landscapes. All materials will be provided however, if you have your own watercolours, waterproof fineliner pens and paint brushes e.g. mop brushes, please bring them. An apron or old shirt is also recommended as is a smart phone/camera as we’ll spend a short time at the beginning of the session photographing our surroundings to use in the pieces you make.
