Ever considered making your own leatherwork and accessories? Why not come and do it under our expert tuition? Our skilled leatherwork team will help you to cut, dye, finish, rivet, glue and sew all your leatherwork specifically for your horse. Generally this will take 1 day to complete. If you have any questions, you can get in touch via 'Message the tutor.' We can also help you to tack up your horse after if you wish.

Anthony Dew started designing and making wooden rocking horses back in 1976, and even now, almost 5 decades on, under the leadership of Becca and James The Rocking Horse Shop is a family owned business. We are based in a small village called Fangfoss, overlooked by the Yorkshire Wolds. We have our workshops, specialising in woodwork, leatherwork, metalwork and painting. We have 3 main strands to our work - Hand carved horses, Restorations and Make your Own. Visitors are welcome to visit our showroom. We are open 10.00am till 4.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive (closed Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays).
