Unlock the art of pattern cutting with the brilliant Jamilla Ives, Made My Wardrobe‘s in-house Pattern Cutter! Join us for an immersive residential course at the picturesque Hawkwood, where you’ll delve into the world of Trouser Fitting like never before. In this workshop, you will learn how to make a trouser pattern to fit your body. Across two days, we’ll introduce you to a range of fit adjustment techniques to help get the best fit possible. We’ll start by taking accurate measurements so that we can adjust the patterns accordingly. We'll then use your body as the mannequin to get the final fit. You’ll learn techniques which you can then apply to a whole range of sewing patterns. We will aim to go over the fundamentals of fit, locating and constructing waistbands, and fully fitting your trousers.

What's included in the price?

All materials are provided. You're welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you wish. Residential options are inclusive of all meals and accommodation. Non-residential options exclude breakfast and accommodation.
