Description

Weave a beautiful floating willow duck house to keep your ducks or wild foul safe from predators whilst raising their chicks. Suitable for anyone with a pond or water course who appreciates a bit of style whilst doing their bit for wildlife. A two day course, the wooden base will be pre-prepared for you, giving you the time to focus on your weaving and adding your own personal touches with a range of willow varieties. You will need good strong hands to be able to make the most of the weaving experience.

The Stick Smith (aka Dave Jackson) makes a range of beautifully handcrafted bent stick chairs, continuous woven hurdles and woven willow features for the garden. Dave began his journey in coppice and willow crafts in 1999 and has a long history of sharing his skills and knowledge through running a variety of craft courses and workshops at events. Having started in the Malvern Hills, we are now firmly established in the Chiltern Hills in South Oxfordshire where we grow and harvest our own materials.
