Make a Copper Rose in a Day in the Lake District
Description
During the day you will learn to make your own beautiful, solid copper everlasting Rose. You will learn the basic metalsmithing techniques of sawing (a lot!), filing, sanding, hammer texturing and soldering. You will leave with a beautiful, life-like and life size copper rose to keep or give to someone special. Your tutor, Gail Coxon, of Gail Louise Jewellery, is a jeweller who creates organic and unique works in silver, gold and copper, incorporating precious and semi-precious stones. With more than 15 years experience as a jeweller, she specialises in one of a kind pieces and commission work, influenced by the forms and textures found in nature.
What's included in the price?
All tools and materials are supplied. There is a £25 materials charge which is payable direct to your tutor. Homemade refreshments and a two course lunch will be served during the workshop.

We have parking near the Barn and in our farmyard. If you need to be near to the Barn, please let us know in advance and we can reserve you a place.
We do not offer accommodation at Hare Hill Barn, but being in the Lake District there are numerous places to stay locally to suit all budgets. If you would like some assistance in finding somewhere to stay, please get in touch.
