About the Course

Traditional lime plastering course at Lincoln Castle.

Discover the possibilities of Lime!

A one day course aimed at those with little to no understanding of plastering which will introduce why we use lime based plasters in traditionally constructed buildings, take you through the different stages of plastering with lime and look at the different mixes for each layer and application. You’ll discuss how to patch-repair lime and hair plaster and touch on decorative work. This course would be beneficial to homeowners and professionals who wish to better understand how traditional buildings function and commission repair work.
