Always wanted to learn how to illustrate your own stories? Want to know how to create a visual narrative? Then this is the masterclass for you! You will enjoy learning and exploring essential illustration skills in our relaxed friendly studio. During this masterclass you will learn how to visually interpret your narrative and layout a picture book. We will also explore the importance of styles and variety for different age groups. You are welcome to bring your own written story or poem to illustrate. Or a small selection of short stories will be available to choose from instead. Recommended for anyone who would like to explore the world of picture book illustration. No experience needed you are in safe hands with our helpful tutor Charlotte, who is an experienced illustrator and creative facilitator. She will cater her feedback to you as an individual, giving you confidence in your new abilities.
What's included in the price?
This masterclass consists of 1 x five and a half hour session (including breaks), running from 10:30am until 4:00pm. All materials and equipment needed will be provided. Your workshop includes refreshments free of charge. Toilet facilities are on site. You are required to pay for the workshop in full, when booking.
